PROHASHING is going global!

Adding a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to the PROHASHING website

To reduce the time required to load our website for customers who are geographically located far away from PROHASHING's home base, we are implementing a CDN. See the "Adding a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to the website" section of this blog post for more information.

Expanding mining to worldwide servers

To reduce frequency of rejected shares and offer higher profitability for PROHASHING customers worldwide by reducing latency, we will be adding servers around the world. This requires a DNS change, so starting on November 14th, the primary url "prohashing.com will be deactivated, and miners will need to point workers toward us.mining.prohashing.com. Those of you using the eu.prohashing.com url will need to change your configuration to point your workers toward eu.mining.prohashing.com, also before November 14th. See the "Expanding mining to worldwide servers" section of this blog post for more information.

Two-factor authentication changes

Starting on November 14th, PROHASHING will be strictly enforcing the 2fa policy posted on our website, which means we will not be assisting any customers who lose access to their 2fa codes through loss, damage, theft, etc. unless they are members of the Trusted Mining Program. Please see the "Two-factor authentication changes" section of this blog post for more information and preventative measures.

Yearly system maintenance

We will be performing our yearly system maintenance on November 14th. We are trying to minimize the impact on customers by doing the maintenance at the same time as the CDN and regional server changes.See the "Yearly system maintenance" section of this blog post for more information.
