Introducing the...

{{send_name}}, Prohashing is proud to introduce the newest innovation in mining - the Prohashing Trusted Mining Program!

Low-luck mining, where some mining rigs submit fewer blocks than expected, has been a scourge of the industry for years.   While the reason that such firmware exists is unknown, cloud mining services have been particularly vulnerable to this phenomenon.  Low-luck miners create a bad experience by reducing everyone's profit, including their own.

The Prohashing Trusted Mining Program addresses low-luck mining by creating a group of highly trusted miners.  In exchange for verifying their identities and agreeing to the Trusted Mining Compact, Program members will receive an earnings benefit added on top of Prohashing's existing payouts.

According to Vance Vu, who has been hard at work on improvements to Prohashing's new website:

Trusted Mining is an industry first, which will enable Prohashing to offer returns far greater than those of other pools, even those that mine the same coins.  We expect the benefit paid to users to  grow over time as membership increases.

- Vance Vu, Senior Engineer, Prohashing

The starting benefit for the program, which began enrollment yesterday, is 5%.  Starting October 16, the benefit will change daily and be determined per-algorithm by the luck advantage of the Trusted Mining Program's miners.  Current projections suggest that scrypt miners will likely see a 4% benefit, SHA-256 miners will see an 11% benefit, and Equihash variants will likely have an even greater benefit.

Membership in the Prohashing Trusted Mining Program is optional and non-members may continue mining at the current payout rate without taking any additional action.
